Course Description
Mitsui Kanko Tomakomai Golf Club – South Course lies deep in a forest sanctuary. The course, with its beautifully flat stretches of fairway harmonizes splendidly with the white birch forest surroundings. The flowers are blooming in all seasons, there are lovely Japanese trees and plenty of water and sand. This course, featuring many doglegs and strategically placed bunkers, places a premium on well placed shots.

Japanese golf courses are known for their outstanding beauty and are maintained like perhaps no other courses in the world. The attention to the minutest details is truly remarkable. Unlike many courses around the world, they are built to commune with nature, not to conquer it. The Japanese have a reverence for nature and you will sense it as you play their marvelous golf courses.

Japan Golf Tours Available
"Japan is the best kept secret in the golf world today. Long thought too expensive, Japan is now surprisingly affordable. Golf in Japan is an unforgettable experience but our tours are so much more than just golf. Japan is a fascinating country. The history, the culture, the scenery, the energy and friendliness of the Japanese people, the list goes on and on. Come join us and experience it for yourself." – John Thornton, President, Japan Golf Tours

The spring tour coincides with one of Japan’s greatest spectacles – “Hanami” or cherry blossom time. This festival stretches from one end of Japan to the other and it is a must-see experience. The Japanese people love their cherry blossoms and they have a lot of them. People serve up picnic lunches underneath the cherry trees and sing traditional songs to hearken the arrival of spring.
