Course History:
The Kingsbarns Golf Links site has long been known for its intimate connection with the sea. The fact that it's golf origins date back to 1793 is testimony to the attributes of the site which foster ideal conditions for links turf to flourish amid interesting natural terrain. This unique part of East Fife has sandy soils, undulating ridges and hollows, Cambo burn running into the sea, all set immediately against the rugged coastline of the North Sea.

Kingsbarns Golf Links is a tribute to its rich Scottish links heritage.

Course Description:
Only 6 miles from St Andrews, the course sweeps majestically along the sea near the charming village of Kingsbarns. The designer is the American Kyle Philips and it is one of three hosting courses for the Annual Dunhill Links Championship. For more than half the holes, the sea is directly in the golfer's active frame of play. Spacious fairways rolling and twisting through dune ridges and hollows and large inviting greens, make this the ultimate links experience.

The OLD COURSE EXPERIENCE:
Through an exclusive commercial contract with the St. Andrews Links Trust, the Old Course Experience guarantees prime tee-off times between April and October on the Old, New, Jubilee or Kingsbarns Courses at St Andrews Links and Carnoustie. These times form the basis of three or four night luxury programs in St Andrews that may be extended to encompass other championship courses and resorts in Scotland, England and Ireland with non-golfer programs also available.

THREE NIGHT OLD COURSE EXPERIENCE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

• Three nights accommodation in either the five-star Old Course Hotel (sharing an Eden facing twin), the five-star Fairmont St Andrews (sharing a Deluxe King room), the four-star St. Andrews Golf Hotel (sharing a Standard twin), or the three-star Rusacks Hotel (sharing a non-course facing twin) all with full Scottish breakfast each morning.
• Lunches served each day in the Clubhouse restaurant.
• Three course table d’hôte dinner in your hotel on one evening.
• One round on the Old, Kingsbarns or Carnoustie and the New or Jubilee Championship courses.
• Transfers each day from hotel to golf course and return including full bag transfer service.
• Old Course Experience representative available throughout your stay
• Visit to the British Golf Museum and the Driving Range.
• Souvenir group photograph taken on the first tee of the Old Course.
• Full use of the St. Andrews Links Clubhouse and Kingsbarns Clubhouse.

Please note that the handicap limit on the Old Course is 24 for men and 36 for ladies.

The Old Course is shut every Sunday and times are not available on a Saturday as these are allocated to local residents.

Due to various tournaments and events on the Old Course, the above program is not available on special event dates (please check for applicable dates).

Golf tee times are subject to availability and black-out dates
