Course History and Description
Bali Hai Golf Club is the only championship course located right on the famous Las Vegas Strip. It was designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley and opened in 2000. Transporting golfers from the hustle and bustle of the casinos to a tropical golfer’s paradise, it offers views of the neon signs of the Strip from several fairways and tee boxes. Bali Hai also hosts many celebrities and casino high rollers due to its outstanding golf experience, five-star customer service, convenient location and “What Happens in Vegas, Stay in Vegas” philosophy.

Highlighted by seven-acres of water features, a total of 4,000 trees including 2,500 stands of towering palms and 100,000 tropical plants, players are transported to a tropical paradise. Transition and out-of-play areas are accented with Augusta white sand and black volcanic rock outcroppings. The course is ranked as one of the “Top Resort Courses in America” by GolfWeek Magazine, “Best Places to Play,” Golf Digest and recognized at the “Best High-end Resort Course in Las Vegas” in Las Vegas by VegasGolfer magazine.

As with many world-class resort courses, Bali Hai offers caddies and forecaddies to add yet another special touch to this most memorable golf course experience.

The Bali Hai Golf Shop received prestigious recognition as one of “American’s Best 100 Golf Shops” for the past four years in a row by GolfWorld Business. It offers name brand apparel, equipment, souvenir and logo’d items, plus a complete selection of last minute golf needs. It also offers Callaway rental clubs and FootJoy shoes.

Located within the Balinese themed clubhouse is Cili Restaurant featuring award winning contemporary American cuisine with Asian influences in an exotic setting overlooking the spectacular Bali Hai Golf Club. Patio and indoor seating is available. Menu items include lobster cobb salad with cucumber, endive, and orange-citrus vinaigrette and a signature club sandwich with bacon, turkey, fried egg, and grilled chicken. Open for lunch 7 days and available evenings for wedding, events and group functions only. For light fare and libations throughout the day Bali Hai also features the Cabana snack bar and on-course beverage cart service.

To add a little gaming excitement to the round, Bali Hai offers a “Beat The Pro” challenge for all golfers who can test their skill against course personnel on a Par 3 closest to the hole contest for merchandise credit in the golf shop.
