The Golf Club at Ballantyne Resort is an 18-hole, five-star championship golf course situated on lush, landscaped terrain features masterfully designed fairways and skillfully manicured greens. Golf enthusiasts of all skill levels are sure to enjoy the challenging but fair course with spectacular, sweeping views. This rolling, tree-lined par 71 course is ideal for individual play and group outings, as well as individual or group golf lessons.

The Club House has a private club atmosphere although it is open to the public. Charlotte’s most all-encompassing golf destination, Ballantyne Resort offers club repair facilities and a full-service golf shop.

The Carolinas are renowned for great golf resorts. Ballantyne Resort, recently awarded as a “Great Golf Resort of the World” by PGA Magazine, provides Charlotte’s ultimate golf experience. Since its inception in 1998, the golf course has won numerous state and regional awards for seven consecutive years.

Hole #3 is a reachable-in-two par 5 with a great drive. Off the tee, hug the fairway bunker on the right. Drives that hit left require a longer shot to carry the creek that crosses the fairway. Hit a solid second shot avoiding bunkers on the left to reach this sloping green.

The most challenging hole on the course is #8, a long, difficult par 4. A good drive favoring the left side of the fairway will roll the ball into the best position. The approach is to a tough green that is protected in front by a creek.
