Course History and Description:
FarmLinks Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship Hurdzan-Fry Golf Course Design golfing experience! The course was designed to flow with the various natural elements contained on the 3,500-acres site. FarmLinks is located at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, Alabama so the terrain is dotted by lakes and ponds, streams, trees, rolling hills and mountains, wet lands and even wild life.

The course measures 7,444 yards from its back tees and multiple tees are offered to accommodate golfers of any level. This magnificent course offers a challenging but enjoyable experience for all golfers!

Going Beyond the Game
Beyond a great round (or rounds) of golf, FarmLinks offers more to golfers, the golf industry and future of the game. FarmLinks is touted as the world’s first research and demonstration golf course, created to showcase turf and golf industry innovation and product performance through the course’s ability to serve as a living laboratory and ongoing focus group for industry leaders. Owned by the Pursell Family and in conjunction with Pursell Technologies Inc. (PTI), FarmLinks has a vested interest in not only the golf industry but the turf industry as well. To further the objective of showcasing industry innovation and extending research and demonstration in a real world setting, Pursell Technologies enrolled premier turf industry partners into the FarmLinks venture. This created a conglomerate of high profile corporations such as The Toro Co., Club Car, Inc. and Syngenta, all contributing to the Experience at FarmLinks.

The Experience at FarmLinks is this joint initiative, headed by Pursell Technologies, to connect premier companies in the golf industry in hopes of furthering market share and showcasing industry innovation. At the heart of this initiative is the establishment of personal relationships with end users of turf industry products, mainly golf course superintendents, through education and recreation.

The benefit of the Experience also extends to the public and all golfers at FarmLinks. While enjoying a fabulous round in an unparalleled setting, golfers will witness the latest and greatest equipment The Toro Co. and Club Car have to offer. Golfers will also experience research plots conducted by Pursell Technologies and Syngenta and product displays and demonstrations from various other FarmLinks partners and industry innovators (please see our Partners page), all to further the game of golf! In its goal to contribute to the overall future of the game, FarmLinks is also in the process of becoming a First Tee facility.
