![]() ![]() Course History and Description The Vincennes Golf Club, opening Spring 2006, is slated to be the premier golf facility in the region. This hilly course is cut out of heavily-wooded terrain. Water hazards come into play on many holes, and most of the fairways are narrow. The signature hole is #11, a 200-yard, par 3, requiring a downhill tee shot from an elevated tee to a small, undulating green. The finishing hole, a 508-yard, par 5, is also quite spectacular, requiring an approach shot to a green that is practically surrounded by water. The fairway is also a dogleg configuration and there are bunkers in the landing area and around in the green. The Vincennes Golf Club, previously know as Fox Ridge, was purchased in the fall of 2005 by Hillcrest Partners, LLC of Indiana. The club will be managed by Florida based Golf Strategies, LLC.
