![]() Course History and Description Wilderness Ridge is located on Lincoln's south side adjacent to Wilderness Park. The course features 22 lakes with four large waterfalls interwoven into a mile and half of streams that wind through a course bordered with mature trees. The course is parkland is design, with open, gently rolling fairways that meander around strategically placed hazards, including trees, sand, and water – which comes into play on at least ten holes. The Championship golf course offers the advanced golfer a challenge while welcoming the beginner onto its bent-grass fairways and greens. To give the course a mature feel, more than 3,000 new trees were planted and 2,000 mature cedar trees were relocated on the property.
