Course History:
Designed by Scott Miller, three unique nine-hole named Acacia, Ironwood, and Mesquite set this dramatic course apart from any other desert golf experience. Emerald green fairways are etched into golden-colored desert grasses, sweeping over constantly changing elevations to flawless tif-eagle Bermuda greens. More than three hundred bunkers guard the way, along with lakes, dry desert washes and strands of desert trees. At Kierland Golf Club, every guest is treated as a member. Also, as home of the Golf Digest Golf School, Kierland Golf Club offers a state-of-the-art teaching and practice facility, complemented by a first-class pro shop. Course Description:
The three unique nine-hole layouts at Kierland combine the best of desert and parkland golf. Saddle-shaped fairways on many holes make this course a bit more user-friendly than the typical desert-style course but even the most advanced players will find plenty of challenge. The three nines, named Acacia, Ironwood, and Mesquite are all distinctive enough that one could play several rounds at Kierland and feel that you’re getting plenty of variety. With its spacious 27-hole layout and food & beverage service, Kierland Golf Club is ideal for groups and tournaments as well as individual play.
